West Bromwich Albion staged a remarkable second-half comeback against relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town securing a 4-1 victory. Trailing 1-0 at halftime, Albion’s Mikey Johnston scored twice and Kyle Bartley and Okay Yokuslu added goals to complete the turnaround.
The win marked a triumphant return for head coach Carlos Corberan to Huddersfield. Although Albion is unlikely to catch teams above them, they are well-positioned for a playoff spot. Huddersfield just a point from safety felt the first-half lead was deserved but acknowledged defensive lapses.
The Championship tight relegation battle leaves Huddersfield and 12th placed Sunderland separated by only nine points.
