Plymouth Argyle staged a comeback against 10-man Blackburn as Sammie Szmodics and Morgan Whittaker found the net. Szmodics opened the scoring with a brilliant finish but Plymouth dominated possession afterward. The game shifted in Plymouth’s favor when Kyle McFadzean received a red card for a foul on Ryan Hardie.

Whittaker equalized  securing a point for Plymouth. Despite Blackburn’s strong defensive efforts with 10-man they couldn’t find a winner. The draw leaves both teams level on points with Blackburn still seeking their first win under manager John Eustace after eight games in charge.

The result moves both sides three points clear of the relegation zone. Blackburn showed resilience and Plymouth’s dominance earned them a well-deserved point on the road.
