Premier League Hall of Fame Shortlist Revealed: United and City Legends Vie for Induction

Six former Manchester United players and two former Manchester City players are among the 15 candidates shortlisted for induction into the Premier League’s Hall of Fame. This prestigious club, established in 2021, honors iconic figures from both player and managerial ranks.  Ashley Cole renowned for his stellar career with Arsenal and Chelsea became the first addition of 2024.

Now, players like Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick, Michael Owen and Andy Cole from Manchester United, along with Yaya Toure and David Silva from Manchester City, vie for a place in this exclusive club. Other notable contenders include Sol Campbell, John Terry and Cesc Fabregas. The public can vote for their preferred candidates on the Premier League website until April 8th, 12 pm.
