Rangers Manager Clement Pleased with Team’s Performance, Eyes Consistency in Title Pursuit

Rangers manager Philippe Clement expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance stating that they have instilled confidence in their fans by narrowing the gap to Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic to three points. The victory over bottom club Livingston was crucial in this regard. Clement acknowledged the change in fan support noting increased patience and confidence in the team’s abilities.

Despite focusing solely on winning games and maintaining consistency throughout the season, Clement emphasized the importance of momentum. The match saw Rangers capitalize on their opportunities with goals from Fabio Silva and Rabbi Matondo securing a comfortable lead before halftime. Livingston showed resilience but failed to threaten Rangers’ goal throughout the game.

Philippe Clement highlighted the progress of his team and emphasized the need for continued improvement. Livingston manager David Martindale lamented a contentious decision but remained focused on the team’s efforts to avoid relegation. Rangers will face Aberdeen next while Livingston will take on Kilmarnock.
