Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly considering Marcus Rashford as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe who has informed the club of his intention to leave on a free transfer in the summer. Luis Campos the club’s football advisor views Rashford as a candidate for the role. Although Rashford had discussions with PSG in 2022 he stayed at Manchester United and has faced challenges in maintaining his performance under manager Erik ten Hag.
The 26 years old recent controversies including missing training and off-field incidents have added to his struggles. PSG’s wishlist also includes Napoli striker Victor Osimhen but the Nigerian has expressed commitment to Napoli despite reported interest from Chelsea and Arsenal. Osimhen signed a contract extension in December with a reported release clause exceeding £105 million.
