Real Madrid and Brazil winger Vinicius Junior became emotional when addressing the persistent racist abuse he has endured while playing in La Liga. Despite facing numerous instances of racism, Vinicius expressed his determination to continue playing in Spain, refusing to give in to the racists’ desires. He emphasized his commitment to the anti-racism cause and vowed to stay at Real Madrid, using his platform to combat discrimination.

Vinicius teammate Dani Carvajal also condemned racism in Spanish football, highlighting the need to address the issue. The Brazilian national coach, Dorival Junior stressed the importance of holding perpetrators accountable while fellow Brazilian international Rodrygo called for stricter punishments for social media abusers. Both players emphasized the need for consequences to deter further instances of racism.
