Record-Setter Rohan Bopanna Eyes Wimbledon Glory

Rohan Bopanna, the record breaking tennis player aims to further make history by clinching the Wimbledon doubles title. At 43, Bopanna became the oldest major men’s doubles winner at the Australian Open last month. Currently the oldest tennis world number one Bopanna who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals in 2023, expresses his strong connection with the tournament and his ambition to go beyond the semi-finals this year.

Teaming up with Matthew Ebden with whom he won the Australian Open, Bopanna hopes to add a Wimbledon title to his impressive achievements. Despite setting multiple records including the oldest Masters champion and oldest ATP Finals match winner, Bopanna emphasizes his enjoyment of the game and intends to continue as long as he finds it fulfilling.
