Red Bull Investigation: Christian Horner Meets with Lawyer Amid Allegations
February 09, 2024
The investigation, concerning allegations of controlling and coercive behavior, may extend beyond Formula 1's schedule.

Today’s meeting between Red Bull boss Christian Horner and an independent lawyer in central London is unlikely to yield the outcome of the investigation into alleged inappropriate behavior.

While the investigation, led by parent company Red Bull GmbH, has been gathering evidence, Horner will have the opportunity to present his side of the story. Although not a legal hearing, this meeting serves as an interview for Horner to address the allegations.

Sky Sports’ Craig Slater anticipates the meeting to last most of the day, cautioning against expecting immediate results. The investigation, taken seriously by Red Bull, concerns allegations of controlling and coercive behavior made by a female staff member against Horner, which he vehemently denies.

The process may extend beyond the Formula 1 timetable, potentially involving multiple interviews and is unlikely to conclude before the RB20 launch on February 15th.
