Red Bull's Horner Faces Pressure to Step Down Over Allegations

Bernie Ecclestone has reportedly advised Christian Horner the Red Bull team principal facing allegations of ‘inappropriate behavior,’ to step down to avoid further damage. The 50 years old, husband of Geri Halliwell is under investigation following accusations by a female Red Bull employee.

Ecclestone a close friend of Horner has allegedly intervened suggesting resignation. Red Bull where Horner has served for 19 years is conducting an independent investigation. Horner denies all claims but faced an all day meeting with an internal investigator.

The uncertainty over his future may linger for weeks potentially affecting the team as they prepare for the new Formula One season. The Red Bull RB20 car is set to be unveiled on Thursday.
