Manchester United spent a combined £155 million on wingers Sancho and Antony but both transfers have not worked out well. Sancho was sent back to Borussia Dortmund after a dispute with coach Erik ten Hag while Antony has struggled to make an impact in 22 appearances this season. United is now looking to offload both players to recoup funds for further investments. The club has contacted Saudi Arabian teams, who spent heavily last summer in the hope of securing £50 million for each winger in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Saudi clubs are reportedly eyeing big deals including players like Salah, De Bruyne, Son, Casemiro and Varane. Despite earlier rumors of a January move to Al-Ettifaq, Sancho’s potential transfer was hindered by the refusal to include a £50 million obligation to buy. United’s plan is for Sancho to regain form in Germany and attract interest for a significant transfer fee in the summer while coach Ten Hag aims to revive Antony’s performance for the remainder of the season.
