Reflecting on The Guardian’s 2014 Youth Talent List: Where Are They Now?

In 2014, The Guardian identified 40 of the most promising young football talents aged 16 or 17 globally. Among these players were Guido Vadala, who currently plays in Argentina’s second tier with Alvarado and Daniel De Silva now with A-League side Macarthur FC.

Youri Tielemans, who has become a key player for Aston Villa and Belgium stands out as one of the biggest successes from the list. Others like Malcom, Gerson and Nikola Vlasic have experienced varying degrees of success in their careers, playing for clubs in different leagues around the world.
