Rodrygo Double Leads Real Madrid to Victory Over Athletic Bilbao in La Liga Showdown

Real Madrid secured a victory over Athletic Bilbao in their final match before facing Manchester City in the Champions League. Rodrygo scored two impressive goals, opening the scoring with a brilliant shot from 20 yards and sealing the win with a composed finish after a skillful run.

The return of Jude Bellingham from suspension added strength to the team, who now sit eight points clear at the top of La Liga. Despite their attempts to level the score, Athletic Bilbao faced strong resistance from Real Madrid defense and goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Eder Militao return from injury as a late substitute showed promise.
