Ronnie O’Sullivan’s return to snooker at the Players Championship is described as “very ragged” by former players Stephen Hendry and Ken Doherty. O’Sullivan who took a break from competition for health reasons faced Zhou Yuelong and struggled in the opening frames eventually leveling the match before the interval.
Hendry notes O’Sullivan’s rustiness citing unforced errors while Doherty believes O’Sullivan is fortunate to be 2-2 at the interval. Despite the challenging start both commentators acknowledge O’Sullivan’s ability to produce moments of brilliance.
Zhou Yuelong missed opportunities and the match is poised at 2-2.
