Derek Adams has stepped down as the manager of Ross County resigning after just 12 games in his third stint with the club. The decision follows the team’s recent struggles, culminating in a 5-0 defeat to Motherwell. Adams who returned to the Scottish Premiership club in November expressed regret about taking the job in the past weeks.

His tenure included two wins, seven losses and a controversial critique of the Scottish top flight. The chairman, Roy MacGregor accepted Adams’ resignation, thanking him and wishing him well in the future.
