Despite facing injuries and suspensions, the Memphis Grizzlies hosted the Lakers for the first time this season evoking memories of their playoff matchup last year. Rui Hachimura, instrumental in the Lakers’ victory, capitalized on opportunities with Anthony Davis sidelined scoring 32 points and securing 10 rebounds.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham praised Hachimura contributions since becoming a full-time starter in February. LeBron James returning from an ankle issue notched a triple-double. The Lakers showcased depth as all five starters scored at least 13 points.

Jaxson Hayes filling in for Davis, contributed 14 points and seven rebounds. Despite Davis absence, the Lakers’ balanced performance secured their fifth consecutive win. Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 26 points. The Lakers look to extend their winning streak against the Indiana Pacers.
