Salary Talks Sparked as Caitlin Clark Enters WNBA with Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark became the top pick in the WNBA Draft selected by the Indiana Fever. Discussions arose about her salary with estimates suggesting she will earn approximately $338,000 over four years with $76,500 in the first season.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson advocated for higher pay for WNBA players. Rookie salaries in the WNBA are determined by draft position with the top four picks earning the same amount. Clark income will be supplemented by endorsement deals she secured during college.

Some of the highest-paid WNBA players include Arike Ogunbowale, Kahleah Copper and Jewell Loyd earning nearly $242,000 annually.
