At the Texas Children’s Houston Open, golf’s current world No. 1, Scottie Scheffler is tied for the lead after completing a 4-under-par 66 in the third round, bringing his total score to 9-under 201. He shares the top spot with David Skinns, Stephan Jaeger, Alejandro Tosti and Thomas Detry.
Scheffler’s round featured eight birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey adding to the excitement. Despite recent triumphs at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship, Scheffler maintains focus on the final round, emphasizing adherence to his process. This marks the most co-leaders in a PGA Tour event since 2009.
