American golfer Scottie Scheffler maintained his lead at the Masters on a dramatic third day while Tiger Woods struggled. Scheffler shot a one-under 71 to move to seven under par, one shot ahead of Collin Morikawa. Meanwhile, Woods had a rough day shooting his worst score at a major with an 82.  Bryson DeChambeau, who was tied for the lead, hit a 75 and is now three under par. Despite his struggles, DeChambeau made a late birdie to finish the day on a positive note.

Scheffler closest competitor, Morikawa carded a 69 to finish at six under par. Other notable performances include Max Homa at five under par and Ludvig Aberg at four under par. Woods’ disappointing round saw him fall to 11 over par. His struggles on the course were evident as he failed to find fairways and recorded multiple bogeys and double bogeys. Rory McIlroy and defending champion Jon Rahm also faced challenges with McIlroy too far back to mount a serious challenge and Rahm expressing disappointment at not contending for the title on Sunday.
