Sebastian de Chaves, the lock for Newcastle Falcons has inked a new contract extending his stay with the Premiership team for an additional two years. This marks his second tenure with the club having previously made 54 appearances for the Falcons. De Chaves returned to the club in 2022 after playing for the US Major League Rugby side Austin Gilgronis.
Expressing his enthusiasm, the 33 years old stated his excitement about continuing with the club emphasizing his fondness for both the city and the team. He remains optimistic about the Falcons’ future despite recent challenges citing the determination of the squad and the positive atmosphere within the organization.
