Sepang Pre-Season Test: Bastianini Breakthrough Lap Shakes Up Leaderboard

In the morning session at Sepang, Martin set a new lap record with a time of 1m57.273s holding off Binder. However, Bastianini later surpassed Martin with a time of 1m57.134s nearing the 1m56s mark.

Binder finished third followed by Espargaro and Bagnaia. Acosta impressed in eighth despite a minor crash. Bezzecchi, Mir and Quartararo also posted competitive times.

Marquez struggled clocking the most laps but falling short on pace. Morbidelli and Fernandez missed the test due to injuries with Pirro and Savadori substituting.
