Middleweight Hamzah Sheeraz showcased an impressive and unstoppable performance in London defeating Liam Williams in just one round. The 24 years old Briton extended his unbeaten record to 19 fights dropping Williams twice with his blistering speed.
Despite doubts from some, Sheeraz fulfilled his promise to make a statement against the former world title challenger. Williams who had displayed confidence leading up to the fight succumbed to Sheeraz’s stiff jab and powerful shots going down twice in the first round.
Promoter Frank Warren praised Sheeraz’s performance and suggested Chris Eubank Jr as his next opponent. Warren sees Sheeraz as a rising star and believes he has the potential to win and hold a world title for an extended period.
