Sheffield Wednesday Falls to Defeat as Leicester Maintains Title Charge

Leicester City continued their charge towards the Championship title with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday. Jamie Vardy in his first league start since November scored his 11th goal of the season while Abdul Fatawu opened the scoring after a defensive error.

The win extended Leicester’s lead at the top to 12 points. Despite Wednesday rallying in the second half, they suffered their 13th away league defeat and remain in relegation trouble.
