Six out of six for Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s exceptional season continued yesterday with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Union Berlin in the Champions League night at Olympiastadion.

However, the Spanish giants were stunned by Kevin Volland’s opener just seconds before the first half ended, as the German capitalized on David Alaba’s mistake. In the second half, Real intensified their efforts, and with two headed goals from their number 14, Joselu, Los Blancos looked steadily on course to end the night with another win.

Midfielder Alex Kral had other plans, slotting one past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 85th minute, leveling the score once again. Real Madrid’s determination to secure maximum points was evident, and their efforts were rewarded with a Dani Ceballos strike from the edge of the box that deflected straight into the goal.

As group champions, Real Madrid will discover their knockout stage opponent in a draw scheduled for Monday.
