Brentford manager Thomas Frank has acknowledged that Ivan Toney a target for Arsenal and Chelsea is likely to be sold in the summer. Toney who recently returned from an eight months ban for betting offenses has one year left on his contract after this season.
Despite interest from top Premier League clubs Brentford retained him during the January transfer window. Frank acknowledges the potential departure but highlights Toney value. The striker has expressed his desire to play for a top team and aims for a place in England squad for the European Championship.
Brentford had no bids for Toney in the winter but Frank expects considerable interest in the summer.
