Despite Chelsea resounding 6-0 victory over Everton there was a moment of tension at Cobham when Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer argued over who would take a penalty while the team was 4-0 up. Manager Mauricio Pochettino was visibly displeased and warned Madueke and Jackson about their behavior.
However, Madueke seemed unfazed as indicated by his Instagram post featuring a photo with Pochettino. With the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City approaching, Madueke will aim to put the incident behind him and focus on the upcoming match.
Despite Pochettino frustration, Madueke has been performing well for Chelsea recently making a strong case for inclusion in the starting lineup against City especially considering City recent exhaustion from a grueling Champions League match.
