Manchester United player Rasmus Hojlund decision to be interviewed by a Manchester United YouTube fan channel, ‘The United Stand,’ has reportedly faced criticism from teammates. Hojlund in excellent form with seven goals in six appearances discussed various topics during the interview. Some teammates questioned the choice, citing the channel’s history of negativity toward the club and players.

‘The United Stand’ and its owner Mark Goldbridge have defended the interview attributing criticism to jealousy. Former United player Paul Parker had previously criticized the channel stating that Goldbridge a Nottingham Forest fan was attacking United without genuine love for the club. Despite the controversy, Hojlund impressive goal scoring form for Manchester United has been a highlight of his debut season with 13 goals in 30 appearances.
