Timber’s Return: Arsenal’s Defensive Boost as Dutch Star Nears Comeback

Jurrien Timber has moved closer to his anticipated return to Arsenal by participating in first-team training on Wednesday. The Dutch international has been sidelined since the season opener due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Although Timber hasn’t fully resumed complete training, his active involvement in the session suggests he is nearing availability. This development is a significant boost for head coach Mikel Arteta who has faced defensive challenges with injuries to players like Oleksander Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

While it remains uncertain if Zinchenko and Tomiyasu will be ready for Monday’s match against Sheffield United, Timber’s progress signals positive news for Arsenal’s defensive options.
