Following Birmingham City’s win over Sunderland, Tony Mowbray concluded his press conference with a gracious message for his successor Michael Beale. Mowbray expressed his best wishes to Beale urging him to stay strong and believe in the quality of the team.

Having spent 15 months at Sunderland, Mowbray emphasized the importance of enjoying the coaching journey and advised Beale to have confidence in his decisions. Despite his desire to win for Birmingham City, Mowbray acknowledged his positive experience at Sunderland and encouraged Beale to make the most of his time at the club.

Mowbray who was sacked by Sunderland in December reflected on the challenges of coaching and stressed the need for confidence and belief in one’s decisions. Since joining Birmingham City, Mowbray has guided the team to 10 points in his first six league games.
