Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen remains a steadfast member of Tundra Esports for 2024, continuing his role as the Western European organization’s midlaner. Alongside him, the support duo is confirmed to include Edgar “9Class” Naltakian and Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon as positions four and five, respectively.
Originally stepping in as an emergency replacement for Martin “Saksa” Sazdov during TI12, Topson has stayed with Tundra Esports despite the team’s subsequent reconfiguration. Several members of their TI11-winning roster, such as Leon “Nine” Kirilin and Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, departed, while others joined different teams.
Although Topson wasn’t initially part of Tundra’s 2024 roster for ESL One Kuala Lumpur, the team has undergone changes since then. They’ve retained Whitemon and welcomed 9Class, a young talent with prior stints in Team Bear and Team Sexy, as their new support player.
Yet to complete their roster, Tundra is preparing for the BetBoom Dacha Dubai WEU qualifiers starting on January 11. Expectations are high for the team to unveil their finalized lineup within the week.
