Tottenham’s Vicario had a challenging time conceding goals without much help from his defense but managed a crucial save in the second half. Porro showed defensive solidity but lacked quality in his crosses. Romero impressed with his aggressive play, almost scoring multiple times. Davies struggled against Saka pace but won a late penalty.

Bentancur struggled to assert control in midfield and was substituted. Hojbjerg own goal offset any positive impact and he was later replaced. Kulusevski posed a threat with his runs but lacked composure at times. Maddison scheming didn’t lead to many chances. Werner’s lively start was cut short by injury. Son converted a late penalty but couldn’t spark a comeback.

Arsenal’s Raya made a crucial error but recovered well under pressure. White dealt effectively with Tottenham attackers. Saliba and Gabriel stood firm in defense throughout. Tomiyasu pressured Hojbjerg into an own goal and defended well against Tottenham wide threats. Odegaard energy was important although not his cleanest performance.

Partey passing was effective but inconsistent. Rice delivered a controlled performance, despite a wild challenge. Saka excelled on the big stage with a corner assist and a crucial goal. Havertz was the standout player orchestrating key moments in the game. Trossard had a quiet game while Martinelli and Kiwior made decent contributions off the bench.
