Negotiations underway between Tottenham and Club Bruges for 18-year-old winger Antonio Nusa
Club Bruges is seeking a £25 million deal for Nusa, a player previously targeted by Chelsea last summer, with the condition that he remains with them for the rest of the season. The Belgian club aims to extract maximum value for the young talent, as both Spurs and Chelsea closely monitor his promising development.
Tottenham has reportedly been tracking Nusa for a while, making efforts to position themselves at the forefront of the race for his services. At just 18 years old, Nusa has already made a significant impact, contributing three goals and three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions for Club Bruges.
The winger’s ascent in the Jupiler Pro League has not gone unnoticed, earning him a call-up to the Norwegian national team by manager Stale Solbakken. Nusa marked his international debut with an impressive performance, scoring and assisting in a 6-0 victory over Jordan.
Notably, Nusa made history in the Champions League last season by becoming the competition’s second-youngest goalscorer at just 17 years and 149 days when he scored against Porto. In other transfer news, 34-year-old Ivan Perisic has joined HNK Hajduk Split on loan until the summer, coinciding with the expiration of his Tottenham contract. Perisic, who suffered an ACL injury early in the current campaign, returns to the club where he began his football journey, although he never made a senior appearance before departing for Sochaux at the age of 17.
