UFC Debut Disqualified: Severino Bites Lima, Faces UFC Dismissal

Flyweight Igor Severino was disqualified during his UFC debut for biting opponent Andre Lima in their Fight Night bout in Las Vegas. Lima signaled for the referee to intervene after discovering the bite mark on his arm during the second round.

Severino’s actions led to his dismissal from the UFC, as confirmed by President Dana White. Lima, speaking through a translator, expressed disbelief at the incident and later commemorated it with a tattoo of the bite mark, earning a $50,000 bonus from White for his resilience.
