Ivory Coast despite facing challenges and changing coaches mid-tournament has reached the Africa Cup of Nations final against Nigeria. The team under manager Emerse Fae has won all three games since his takeover, marking an unexpected but remarkable journey to the final.

Ivory Coast’s victory in the semifinal against Equatorial Guinea was comfortable with Franck Kessie and Seko Fofana controlling the midfield. Sebastien Haller making his first start of the tournament scored the winner contributing to Ivory Coast’s impressive performance and setting up a final clash with Nigeria.
