Van Persie Opens Up About Arsenal Exit, Manchester United Success

Robin van Persie attended Manchester United’s match against West Ham reaffirming his allegiance to the club where he made a significant impact after joining from Arsenal in 2012.

Van Persie explained that his departure from Arsenal was due to the club’s failure to offer him a new contract despite his desire to stay and help them compete for titles.

He expressed disappointment that Arsenal did not agree with his suggestions for improvement and decided not to extend his contract. Van Persie ultimately moved to United where he won the Premier League title.

Despite wanting to return to Arsenal in 2015, he was not welcomed back by then-manager Arsene Wenger.
