Warnock Resigns After Cup Triumph: Aberdeen Hunt for New Manager

Neil Warnock has resigned as Aberdeen manager shortly after guiding the club to the Scottish Cup semi-finals. The 75 years old who was appointed just last month won two out of his eight games with both victories in the cup.

Despite securing a place in the cup semi-finals, Warnock failed to win any of his six league games leaving Aberdeen 10th in the Scottish Premiership. 

His departure marks the fifth managerial change at Pittodrie in the last three years. Chairman Dave Cormack stated that the search for a new manager is at an advanced stage. Peter Leven will oversee first-team matters until a permanent appointment is made.
