Weather Woes at BNP Paribas Open: Day 1 Matches Postponed Due to Rain

Rain disrupted play on Day 1 of the BNP Paribas Open leading to the postponement of several key first round matches to Day 2.

Ongoing matches including Venus Williams vs. Nao Hibino, Caroline Wozniacki vs. Zhu Lin, Danielle Collins vs. Erika Andreeva and McCartney Kessler vs. Nuria Parrizas Diaz were suspended and rescheduled for the second session on various stadiums. 

Matches yet to begin such as Robin Montgomery vs. Hailey Baptiste, Nadia Podoroska vs. Ashlyn Krueger and Taylor Townsend vs. Magda Linette were also rescheduled for subsequent sessions on different stadiums.
