Saturday’s League 2 matches at Bradford City and Colchester have been called off due to waterlogged pitches. Colchester’s game against Stockport County was postponed after a 09:00 GMT inspection while persistent heavy rain made Bradford City’s pitch unplayable for the match against Notts County despite passing a morning inspection.
The clubs explored options including a later kick-off but the conditions deteriorated. Crawley Town’s home fixture against Barrow was also postponed on Friday due to a waterlogged pitch following heavy rain and concerns about Barrow’s extensive travel distance were considered in the decision.
This follows Barrow’s complaint to the EFL after their previous match against Bradford was canceled just over an hour before kick-off.
