West Ham has accepted an offer from Lyon for winger Said Benrahma considering a loan deal until the season’s end with an obligation to buy for £15 million. The decision now rests with the 28 years old Algerian.
Benrahma who joined West Ham from Brentford in 2020 has a contract until 2026 but has faced inconsistency. While contributing to West Ham’s historic 2-1 win in last season’s Europa Conference League final he has struggled to score this season and received a red card in the FA Cup replay against Bristol City.
West Ham has also rejected a bid from Real Betis for midfielder Pablo Fornals with a second offer anticipated as Fornals has had limited playing time this season.
