West Ham have confirmed that manager David Moyes will leave at the end of the Premier League season. Moyes faced pressure due to recent poor results, including a 5-0 defeat by Chelsea. Despite this, he expressed gratitude for his time at West Ham and highlighted the progress made during his tenure.
The club is currently ninth in the Premier League and unlikely to qualify for Europe. Although Julen Lopetegui is rumored to replace Moyes, no official announcement has been made. Moyes initially managed West Ham from November 2017 to May 2018 before returning in late 2019.
Despite his achievements, concerns over the team’s defensive record led to his departure. West Ham is now searching for a new manager to lead the team forward.
