West Ham George Earthy Released from Hospital After Head Injury

West Ham’s George Earthy who suffered a head injury during Sunday match against Fulham has left the hospital after further evaluation. The 19 years old collided with teammate Edson Alvarez shortly after coming on as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat.

He received medical attention for about seven minutes before being taken off on a stretcher. West Ham performance director, Richard Collinge stated that Earthy is back home and will be monitored closely as he follows the return-to-play protocol. He’ll adhere to concussion guidelines before returning to action, as confirmed by West Ham.
