Wolves boosted their chances of securing European football next season by defeating Fulham moving up to eighth in the Premier League. Rayan Ait-Nouri and a deflected shot from Nelson Semedo secured a 2-1 victory for Wolves. Despite injuries to key players including Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Pedro Neto, Wolves displayed resilience.

Fulham had missed opportunities in the first half with Harry Wilson’s wide shot and Tosin Adarabioyo’s header hitting the bar. Alex Iwobi scored a late goal for Fulham but Wolves held on for the win. Wolves manager Gary O’Neil praised his team’s hard work and togetherness emphasizing the challenges they faced with injuries.

Fulham manager Marco Silva highlighted the need for clinical finishing after the missed chances. The win puts Wolves in a strong position as they eye European football while Fulham looks to regroup in the league against Tottenham.
