Woods Swings Back into the Game at Seminole Pro-Member, Fans Hopeful for Players Championship Presence

Tiger Woods has not confirmed his participation in the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass later this month but he is set to make an appearance in the Seminole pro-member tournament at Seminole Golf Club in Florida. This marks Woods’ first time competing in the event.

The tee sheet reveals he will play alongside PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh, Justin Thomas and Mike Walrath, CEO of Yext. Notable participants include Rory McIlroy, Tom Brady and several PGA Tour players. Woods withdrew from the Genesis Invitational in February due to illness, his first PGA Tour event since the 2021 Masters.

Despite struggles in recent starts, he expressed a desire to play at least one tournament per month. The field for the Players Championship will be announced soon.
