The emergence of Aaron Tai and Kang Khai Xing signals a promising future for Malaysia’s men’s doubles in badminton. Recently, the junior pair secured their first senior circuit title by defeating favorites Peeratchai Sukphun and Pakkapon Teeraratsakul in the Thailand International Challenge final.

This victory follows their success at the Dutch Junior and German Junior tournaments earlier in the season where they consistently reached the quarter-finals or beyond. Jeffer Rosobin the junior director of the BA of Malaysia (BAM) expressed optimism about their performance, hoping it will translate into success at the upcoming Asian and World Junior Championships.

He emphasized the importance of gaining experience and maintaining consistency. The pair, along with other junior players will also compete in lower-tier European senior tournaments prior to the junior events.
