Anthony Davis and LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 123-103 win over the Toronto Raptors with Davis scoring 22 points in 26 minutes before leaving the game in the third quarter due to an eye injury. Anthony Davis, who had several eye injuries last season was hurt while attempting to block Jakob Poeltl’s shot. In other NBA action, Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 127-116 victory over Oklahoma City with 36 points including seven three-pointers. Jayson Tatum starred for the Celtics with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Payton Pritchard added 18 points off the bench, while Derrick White, Jrue Holiday and Jaylen Brown contributed double-digit scoring.
