Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards delivered an impressive performance for the Minnesota Timberwolves scoring a game-high 33 points along with eight rebounds and six assists in their 135-119 win over the Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds and Minnesota erupted for 45 points in the fourth quarter to hand the Bulls their fourth straight loss.
In another game, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 118-105 with balanced scoring from their lineup. Malaki Branham and Keldon Johnson each scored 17 points off the bench while Zach Collins, Stephon Castle and Julian Champagnie contributed 14 points apiece. The Spurs had eight players scoring in double figures, overpowering the Trail Blazers despite strong efforts from Deandre Ayton and Jerami Grant, who each scored 21 points.
The loss marked Portland’s third in four games. Overall, Thursday’s games showcased impressive performances across the board, with key players stepping up to deliver crucial wins for their teams and end losing streaks while the Bulls and Trail Blazers continued their recent struggles.
