LeBron James posted his sixth triple-double of the season to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 119-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, snapping a three-game losing streak. LeBron James recorded 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in the win with seven Lakers players reaching double figures. Dalton Knecht led the scoring with 20 points while Anthony Davis added 19.

Spurs’ rising star, Victor Wembanyama scored 20 points but couldn’t prevent his team’s four-game winning streak from coming to an end. In another Eastern Conference clash, the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered their first home defeat of the season, falling 135-124 to the Atlanta Hawks.

Trae Young orchestrated the Hawks’ win with a career-high 22 assists alongside 20 points while De’Andre Hunter contributed 26 points. Despite their strong season, the Cavs couldn’t stop the Hawks, who showcased impressive team play. James Harden led the Los Angeles Clippers to a dominant 121-96 win over the Washington Wizards scoring 43 points, his highest since March 2021.

The Wizards’ miserable run continued, as they’ve now lost 13 consecutive games. In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 105-101 at home, missing the injured Stephen Curry. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a stellar performance with 35 points, handing the Thunder their eighth win in a row.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a 122-103 win over the Utah Jazz, recording 30 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists continuing his impressive form for the defending champions.
