Scoot Henderson, Tyler Herro Shine in Thrilling NBA Finishers

Scoot Henderson hit the game-winning basket with 0.1 seconds left leading the Portland Trail Blazers to a 122-120 win over the Utah Jazz in one of Thursday’s thrilling NBA finishes. His step-back jumper sealed the victory, adding to a night filled with dramatic final plays. Throughout the game, Scoot Henderson showcased his composure and skill, delivering when it mattered most. In Miami, Tyler Herro drained a 15-foot jumper with 0.5 seconds remaining, giving the Heat a narrow 89-88 win against the Orlando Magic.

The Magic had a chance for a last-second shot but Jalen Suggs’ three-pointer missed and the referees ruled it came after the buzzer. The most unlikely victory came from the Detroit Pistons. Jaden Ivey sank a three-pointer while being fouled with 3.1 seconds left and converted the free throw to complete a 114-113 win over the Sacramento Kings. The Pistons had trailed by 10 points in the final three minutes.

In Washington, Jordan Poole’s clutch three-pointer with 8.7 seconds remaining put the Wizards ahead 112-110 and they held on to beat the Charlotte Hornets 113-110.  The Wizards had trailed by 21 points in the first half but fought back for their fifth win of the season. In other action, the Oklahoma City Thunder extended their winning streak to nine with a 120-114 victory over the Indiana Pacers led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 45 points.

The Memphis Grizzlies scored a franchise-record 155 points in a 155-126 victory against the Toronto Raptors with Jaren Jackson Jr. and rookie Zach Edey both posting 21-point double-doubles. The Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets also claimed victories on the night with strong performances from Jalen Johnson, Jalen Green and Cameron Johnson, respectively.
