Trae Young finished with 24 points including 10 in the fourth quarter and 20 assists. Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with a season-high 35 points.

Zion Williamson made his return from a hamstring injury for the New Orleans Pelicans but couldn’t prevent a 104-97 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Williamson scored 22 points but Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with a game-high 32 points. Elsewhere, the Charlotte Hornets broke a 10-game losing streak with a 115-104 win over the Phoenix Suns. Nikola Jovic’s 20 points helped the Miami Heat defeat the Golden State Warriors 114-98 while the Houston Rockets triumphed over the Washington Wizards 135-112.
