Katie Taylor’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, remains determined to secure a fight for her at Croke Park targeting a third bout with her fierce rival Amanda Serrano. Taylor, 38, recently defended her undisputed light-welterweight world title against Serrano in a thrilling rematch in Texas. Hearn has been working for years to bring the fight to the iconic 82,000-capacity Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) stadium in Dublin though negotiations with GAA officials have yet to be successful.

Hearn emphasized that the potential for a massive financial payoff has never been higher, noting the increasing value of a Taylor-Serrano matchup. Despite the high costs of staging such an event at Croke Park, Hearn remains focused on making it happen. He also mentioned the possibility of Las Vegas as an alternative venue, describing both options as key milestones for Taylor’s career.

In his comments, Hearn referenced Jake Paul, who was involved in an exhibition bout with Mike Tyson on the same Texas card as Katie Taylor’s last fight, suggesting that Paul could potentially help push negotiations forward. Hearn expressed his confidence in the viability of a large-scale event, saying that he firmly believes a Taylor-Serrano fight could fill stadiums of 70,000 or 80,000 spectators.

Hearn praised Taylor as an exceptional athlete and person, calling her “the most incredible, incredible individual” he has worked with and reiterated his desire to fulfill her dream of fighting at Croke Park. He believes that every encounter between Taylor and Serrano would be a contender for “fight of the year,” cementing the significance of this highly anticipated trilogy.
