England Clinches ODI Series Win Over South Africa

England secured a thrilling 2-1 ODI series victory over South Africa in a rain-affected match in Potchefstroom. The win was the result of a strong team effort, highlighted by several standout individual performances. England’s chase of a revised target of 152 runs in 23 overs got off to a rocky start. Marizanne Kapp, the South African all-rounder, ripped through the English top order leaving them reeling at 25-3.

However, Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones steadied the ship with a crucial partnership. Beaumont, in particular was in scintillating form, scoring a blistering 65 off 46 balls.  Jones played a supporting role, scoring a quickfire 49.
